The college is being run by GOJAN EDUCATIONAL TRUST, Chennai which is started by a great Educationist and Philonthrapist with the high values, ideals, dedication and social commitment. The founder has a great vision of providing all the branches, courses and programmes of Educationional field under one roof of GOJAN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS. GOJAN COLLEGE OF TEACHER EDUCATION has started functioning in the academic year 2008-09. It offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,) one year programme in the branches of Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physical sciences, Biological Sciences, History, Geography, Economics, Commerce, Social Sciences(Psychology & Socialogy) and Computer Science. It also offers Master of Education (M.Ed.,) one year programme from the academic year 2010-2011. The college is Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi and Affiliated to the TamilNadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.
