St. Joseph’s College of Engineering & Technology is a Christian Minority Institution of Higher Technical Education, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE], Government of Tamilnadu and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The College is promoted and managed by Sisters of DMI, which was founded in the year 1984 by Rev.Fr.J.E.Arulraj, OMI. The Society manages several educational, technical, health, welfare and social development Institutions. Besides the College commits itself to promote self-disciplined holistic academic excellence among the most marginalized, oppressed and disadvantaged sections of the society so as to mould persons in pursuance of making a better human life through science and technology. Simultaneously this enhances the core strength of the students and enables them to make significant contribution to the development of the society in particular and the nation at large.

Our Placement Cell invites industries to share their knowledge and experience with students through guest lectures, workshops, presentations and informal get-together. Our Placement Cell also organizes the placement process including Summer training and Final placements. Our Placement Cell manages and facilitates on-campus recruitment processes including pre-placement presentations by potential employers to highlight the issues, expectations and professional opportunities, unique to the company and industry.

College is really good ,Mainly our college faculty ,they plays major role during my college.They are very encouraging all the time.This college provides lot of opportunities to explore our talents in many ways.Best part in my life over here.

College environment is really good.Peaceful environment every where.So we can easily attract for academics and we can learn lot of new things here.Actually i got more of practical experience than theoretical knowledge which helps me to have more of professional experience on the field.Faculty are highly motivated and approchable.

This college is very good actually.But i cant say placements also very good here.Placements are average only.Only 56% of students placed in my batch.Package also average here.This college has decent infrastructure.Class rooms are neat and tidy.Huge grounds for sports available.Faculty members are friendly but strict with the academics.They encourage the students for extra curricular activities including sports to some extent.So there is a enjoyable learning over here.
