MARG Institute of Design and Architecture Swarnabhoomi (MIDAS), Kanchipuram is a Telugu minority institute. It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by COA, New Delhi. MIDAS in a short time has emerged as one of the key players in architectural education in South India. The efforts by the faculty and students have enabled us to critically think, reflect and research on contemporary issues in built environment. The idea of MIDAS as a platform for this lateral thought process and the freedom to design has made the institute a trendsetter in architecture education.MIDAS has endeavored to bring experts and the extraordinary performers in the field of architecture to share their thoughts with the emerging minds. Students get a deeper understanding of architecture through a dedicated effort in art with a social context.
