Kalsar College of Engineering, Kanchipuram was established in 1998. It was established under the initiative and impetus of the Chairman of the Kalsar Educational Charitable trust; to fulfill the wishes of the philanthropic elders. The institution is marching successfully towards its goal of importing top quality technical education and preparing the younger generation of students with the spirit of service to the society in its 16th year. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognized by the Government of Tamilnadu and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
