The Institution is located at Mulki 30Kms away from Mangalore and 24 Kms from the famous temple city of Udupi adjacent to the renowned Manipal university. Mulki is a small town falling under the special economic zone declared by the Govt. of India of late. Overlooking the Arabian Sea on the West, its peaceful and serene environment with the lush green coconut grooves around, contributes to a conducive learning environment. The Diploma course in General nursing and Midwifery was started on 20th October 2003 while the BSc. Nursing degree program and a diploma course in the Medical Laboratory Technology and one in Radiology with MRI scan were introduced from November 2004. As a response to the pressing need of the profession for nurse leaders a Master’s program in postgraduate nursing is being started in the present academic year of 2008 – 2009.
