G.D. Naidu Charities’ initiative in these areas met with great response from industries and resulted in starting Gedee Technical Training Institute (GTTI), Coimbatore, in the year 2002 .This set up at Coimbatore, South India was to train Precision Machining Technicians and Tool & Die Engineers. Currently Tool Designers, Mechatronics Technicians, Welding Technicians and Mould Polishers are also trained. GTTI has signed MoUs with IHK-Nurenberg, Germany by which German Diploma certificates are awarded to successful trainees of Tool and Die Engineering and Mechatronics.
This Diploma helps trainees to procure jobs in European countries. This institute is assisted by Gedee Weiler (P) Ltd., G.D.W.Werkzeugmaschinen, Germany, UMS Technologies Ltd and G-Plast (P) Ltd., India. Festo, Fanuc, Siemens, Keller, BFW and WIM have aided in procurement of modern equipment and software.
