Nirmala College for Women was established in the year 1948.The Institution continues to be affiliated to Bharathiar University and is autonomous, free to design its own course of studies and adopt innovative strategies of teaching and evaluation. The University degrees are conferred on the students passing the examinations conducted by the College.

The Placement Cell provide a platform for the final year students to be aware of the career opportunities by organizing awareness programmes on Career Planning and expectations of employers. Employability Skills like communication skill, Group discussion, Team Building, Resume Preparation and Interviewing skills are imparted through training on regular basis and inviting guest lecturers. Students are entertained to take part in on campus and off campus placement drives.
The Placement cell initiated communicative English training for the first year students and quantitative aptitude training and Soft Skill training will be given when they come to second and third year.
It is one of the best college in coimbatore for womens.
Our college students were following strict rules and regulations ,but it gave us a bright future.
The college environment and all is really good.very peaceful and relaxing ,for studying.
Different types of seminars,personal skill developipng classes used to conduct ,it really helped us.
Our exposure to the industrial area was also good,we had a really great time.
Cultural programs also used to conduct very regularly ,it motivated our talents to explore very well.
It is one of the best college in coimbatore.,our library is really huge with so many different kinds of books.
Labs and all equipped with all kinds of insruments,practical classes also were really good.
It was like a womens world,sports,auditorium.classes,seminar hall everything was so nice.
